I work with couples to help you identify the issues you are facing in your relationship and then offer methods and processes to promote meaningful change.

Taking the focus away from right versus wrong, but rather understanding each other’s way of thinking; counselling helps couples engage with difficult conversations that may be holding them  back from a happy and fulfilled relationship.

Whether you’re working through an affair or experiencing a change in dynamics which has left you feeling disconnected, I’m here to help you understand the source of the set-back, find clarity and ultimately set you on the right path to rebuild your relationship or begin the process of separation.

I understand that it can sometimes be tough opening up to a stranger, and my goal is to make this as easy as possible and put you at ease. I create a safe and supportive environment to ensure you feel confident talking about your difficulties, so you feel heard and accepted.

Over the years of working with clients, I have realised that a significant number of couples I work with include one partner who is neurodiverse. Through the extensive hours I’ve spent working with these couples, I’ve developed strategies tailored to their unique needs. This approach is integral to my work with all couples, as I recognise that every partnership is distinct and requires personalised attention.

Frequently couples who are struggling to connect find this reflected in their physical relationship.  They look back to the beginning of their time together and wonder where all the passion went.  I directly address problematic issues around sex and intimacy to gain an understanding of what’s stopped working and what needs to change.  This enables you to work together to rebuild physical and emotional connection and create a mutually rewarding, fun and fulfilling sex life for you both.

Whilst my primary focus is on working with couples, including those from the LGBTQ+ community, I also support individuals whose partners may not yet be ready to attend counselling. It’s important to note that couples or marriage counselling is not only for those facing challenges, but also for couples who wish to strengthen their relationship and enhance their communication skills for the future.
